This exhibition, which explores themes of anatomy, physics, and geology, is open to the public April 3rd. Discovery Bench Activities From 2pm to 6pm Tuesday-Saturday spectrUM leads hand-on science activities at our Discovery Bench in our museum spectrUM hosts guided activities in our museum at our Discovery Bench. Activities are free and open to the public. No registration required. See our monthly calendar for more information. Mark your calendars for a special Star Wars celebration on May the 4th. spectrUM role model Buck Hitswithastick will be in the museum to facilitate hands-on learning about traditional Indigenous tools and artwork May 17, 4-6pm. Board member and Montana Crime Lab scientist, Travis Doria, will be in the museum May16, 4-6pm. spectrUM is hosting the Big Sky High School’s climate art exhibit, Brushstrokes of Change. Experience their artwork with us throughout April, and visit us on May 3rd for a First Friday celebration, 5-7pm. spectrUM Science at the UM Living Lab Join us for hands-on science activities at the UM Living Lab May 11th and 25th from 3-5pm on the 1st floor of the Missoula Public Library. spectrUM’s AUOR Partners Located within the Missoula Public Library complex, spectrUM shares space with 5 other All Under One Roof partners. The Missoula Public Library aims to "Spark Curiosity. Make Connections. Thrive Together." Families First aims to "Strengthen families through education, connection, play and partnership." MCAT Missoula’s Community Media Resource aims to "promote the spread of information and exchange of views, ideas, and opinions within the community of Missoula." The UM Living Lab aims to "inspire children in science." Missoula Community Radio (KFGM 101.5) aims to "create a medium for all community members to enrich and engage their community directly and freely by producing educational, socially just, culturally aware, and entertaining radio programming."
